Applications and forms

We’re currently looking into updating our web forms to make them compatible with all browsers. If you experience an error page when opening a form in a browser, please try one of these two options:

Manually save a PDF copy of the form to your desktop.

1.    Right click on the required form and select Save link as (for Safari, select Download Linked File As).

2.    Pick a location to save the PDF (we recommend saving to your desktop).

3.    Click Save.

Open the saved form with a PDF reader application, such as Adobe Acrobat.

 

Change your browser settings:

Once you have changed your browser settings, PDFs will download to your computer instead of opening online. This will apply to every site you visit.

1.    Click on the 3 dots menu in the top right corner and select Settings.

2.    In the menu on the left side, click Privacy and security.

3.    Click Site settings.

4.    Scroll down and click Additional content settings.

5.    Click PDF documents.

Click the radio button for Download PDFs.

1.    Click on the 3 dots menu in the top right corner and select Settings.

2.    In the menu on the left side, click Cookies and site permissions.

3.    Scroll down and click PDF documents.

Click the radio button to Always download PDF files.

This browser type does not have an option to disable the built-in PDF viewer. To download a PDF from a link:

1.    Press and hold the Option key on the keyboard.

2.    While holding down the key, click the link to the PDF document.

The PDF will save into your web downloads folder.

IMPORTANT – PLEASE READ:

  • This program is available for Sun GIF Solutions RRSP loans only.
  • 1:1 loans to the one-year annual maximum (catch-up provisions not currently available).
  • Sun Life GIFs eApp capability coming soon (for now please use steps below as shown).
  • SLGI does NOT allow the use of DSC or LL for borrowing to invest. If these load types are used, the transactions may be delayed or reversed at your expense.

To set up new accounts

  1. Complete the Sun Life GIFs non-registered/registered/locked-in application (4601).
  2. Fax the application (4601) to Sun Life Global Investments at 1-855-247-6372.
  3. Log into the B2B Bank site, complete, and submit their loan program documentation.
  4. Complete two copies of the Loan Disclosure. You must keep one copy in the Client file as we may audit and request to see this form.
  5. Give the Client the second copy of the Loan Disclosure along with a Reasons Why letter, which describes the rationale for why you suggested the product.

For existing accounts

  1. Log into the B2B Bank site, complete, and submit their loan program documentation.
  2. Complete two copies of the Loan Disclosure . You must keep one copy in the Client file as we may audit and request to see this form.
  3. Give the Client the second copy of the Loan Disclosure.
